Sterling Shepard Signs 3 Year Contract With Injured Reserve

East Rutherford, NJ-Citing his long standing relationship with Injured reserve and his multiple stints with them, Shepard announced Monday he would be leaving the New York Giants for a three year contract with injured reserve preventing him for playing up until the 2024 season. "With Injured reserve, I know the roster, and I know the game plan . I've spent 32 games on IR in my career and its only helped me want to further commit to them. Injured reserve is easily somewhere where I could spend the rest of my career, or even my life." Head Coach of the IR Team, Bob Sanders gave his thoughts about Shepard. "I can't imagine what this team would look like without Shepard, and his concussions, groin injury, migraines, hamstring issues, quadriceps, right ankle sprain, and neck that have become the face of injured reserve". The team is bound to make a strong playoff run this year with Chris Carson, JJ Watt, The entire 2020 Ravens roster, Russel Wilson, and DJ Chark, although as Coach Sanders noted "None of them have the undying loyalty and commitment of Sterling Shepard".
