Patriots Continue Free Agency Spending Spree In NBA, Sign Alex Caruso, Kyle Lowry, And More


After spending nearly 232 Million In NFL Free Agency this year in an attempt to rebuild the New England Patriots franchise into what it once was, The Patriots have now moved on to signing NBA stars in Free Agency as well with their remaining 150 Million. The Patriots signed Alex Caruso, Kyle Lowry, and Chris Paul on Tuesday each to one-year contracts. Bill Belichick called the decision a "smart move" and noted should the signings not work out, "We can always convert them to tight end". Rival head coach Mike Tomlin stated "If there's anyone who can figure out how to play basketball in football, it's Bill." At press time, other head coaches weren't sure if the move was genius or idiotic.
