Justin Fields To Heckle Bears During 2023 Draft
Chicago, IL- With the 2023 NFL Draft set to take place in Kansas City, MO, from April 27-29, Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields posted a screenshot today of his flight itinerary to Kansas City on April 26 with the caption, “Ready to heckle these fucks as soon as they get on the clock.” As the Bears hold the first overall pick in the draft, recent rumors surrounding their interest in Alabama quarterback Bryce Young have sparked lots of debate surrounding the direction of the team. When Bears GM Ryan Pace was asked about the post, he said, “Jokes on him. There will be thousands of other Bears fans booing us on as well. We probably won’t even hear his fragile ass.” Fields also posted a picture of himself later wearing his own custom Green Bay Packers jersey. Just hours after, the Bears blocked Fields on every form of social media and took down every post that alludes to him in any way. “I feel as close to the fanbase as I ever have,” said Fields, who was seen at Portillo's Hot Dogs in Chicago eating with other Bears fans who also planned on heckling the pick. One of those fans, Glen “The Off-Field Refrigerator '' guzzled down as many as 12 hot dogs in one sitting as he sat next to Fields. Fields were seen eating an iconic Wisconsin fried snack, cheese curds, sparking Adam Schefter to report he was interested in going to Green Bay.
