Eddie Goldman Retires After Realizing He Signed With The Falcons

Atlanta, GA-Eddie Goldman announced his retirement just days after signing with the Falcons after a moment of clarity caused him to realize he had fallen so low in his NFL career he had signed with the Falcons. "I knew things were bad..... but I didn't realize how bad they were until coach Arthur Smith called me to congratulate me on becoming a Falcon.......", said Goldman. "That was a real wake up call. Who knows.... if things had gotten really bad I could have woken up to discover I was a Cleveland Brown, or even worse a Jaguar. I'm just thankful the Falcons were my rock bottom."
